has launched a new website. Not only does it illustrate how
the company has changed and developed, but
it also incorporates Writing Machine's newest service, search
engine
optimisation
copywriting.
The emerging technique of search engine optimisation
copywriting is a style of writing deliberately aimed
at increasing the visibility of the company to search engines. “Search
engine optimisation (SEO) is not new,” said
Paul Ayling, MD of Writing Machine. “Traditionally,
however, it has been largely a technical task involving the
inclusion of well chosen keywords.
"In recent times, however, the search engines
have shifted their emphasis away from keywords in the html
code, towards keyphrases in the copy itself. And that means
that companies which aim to achieve high rankings on the search
engines are having to rely increasingly upon the specialist
skills of copywriters such as Writing Machine."
