Editorial Account Executive

Looking for a vibrant workplace?

We're looking for an Editorial Account Executive with a real eye for copy. Working with our team of external writers, you will look after writing (and occasionally print) projects for our blue-chip clients including TomTom, BT, HP and Nortel.

 

Reporting to our existing Editorial Account Managers, you will ensure not only that our copy reaches the highest standards, but that the whole service we provide meets our clients needs.

 

What we are looking for

 

Personal traits

  • You must have a good eye for copy (you may even be a bit of a pedant!)
  • You will need to be organised, thorough, tenacious and ambitious
  • You are personable and highly professional
  • You will be able to multi-task and 'think on your feet'

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining complete project and timescale management, including all liaison with colleagues, suppliers and clients
  • Taking briefs from clients for new writing and print projects
  • Briefing writers, reviewing and (limited) amending copy
  • Obtaining strategic, directorial input from senior colleagues as appropriate
  • Assisting with financial control of projects including ensuring profitability and obtaining purchase orders

Experience

You are likely to be a graduate with relevant work experience. We will provide on the job training where necessary.
